Checkers was found starving in the city of Newburgh living in a feral colony. She is now a happy and plump girl who is looking for her furever home. She is around 5 yrs old and is spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, has had full blood work, is FIV/FeLV negative and has had a recent dental.

Valerie is a very sweet, but shy little girl who was caught in the feral colony in Esopus. She was born around the end of April 2009. Valerie likes to be held on your lap and petted. She is looking for a quite home with someone who has time to help bring her out of her shell.

Fiona is a lovely 1 1/2 year old female who was abondoned in a burnt out barn with her four 5 week old kittens. She did test FIV+. That doesn’t mean that she can’t have a good life and be a wonderful pet for the right person. She is sweet and beautiful and deserves a loving home. Alex is a handsome short haired gray and white male. He was born mid-end of May 2009. He was found wondering the streets of inner city Newburgh in July. He is a fun little boy with lots of love to give.

Nikki was found living under someone’s porch in Poughkeepsie in July with her six 8 week old kittens. Fortunately we were able to pick them all up and get them into the shelter.  She is an affectionate girl who always wants to be by your side and will make a great lap cat.
